Anna Pond is relatively new to New York stages. She spent 5 years in Los Angeles as a member of the award winning
City Garage theater company, performing in a range of classical to contemporary productions including Ionesco's
Journeys Among the Dead (Lydia ), Fassbinder's Garbage, The City and Death (Emma), Genet's The Balcony (Envoy),
and Brecht's Jungle of Cities (Mary). After a quick pass through Boston's theater scene where she appeared in a
collection of absurdist one-acts, she made her way to the Big Apple and joined the MCTC in 2006. Her New York
theater credits include: Wilson's The Mound Builders (Jean) and Martin's Picasso at Lapin Agile (Germaine). Anna
holds degrees from both Yale and Harvard, although she's a bulldog at heart. |
