| Cristina Morrison is an American-Ecuadorian performer. She studied drama at “La Scaletta Theatre
School” in Rome, Italy and later at the “American Academy of Dramatic Arts” in Pasadena, CA, graduating in 1993. Morrison has
a general dance background and speaks fluent Spanish & Italian. Her credits include: “Enemies, A Love Story” by I. Bashevis
Singer with Stepstheatre, “The Bitter Tears of Petra Von Kant” by Fassbinder with White Orchard Theatre, “The Jewish Wife”
by Brecht and “First Love” by Beckett with Malayerba, and “The Vagina Monologues”. On TV she has worked on mini-series and
TV films based on Ecuadorian literature as well as in productions for Germany, the Discovery Channel, and Telemundo. She was
the founder and executive director of “El Socavon Theatre Foundation”, 120 seat house in Quito, Ecuador from 1996-2003. She is
also a jazz-blues singer songwriter and is currently working on her debut music album to be released this year. At MCTC,
Cristina has played the role of “Spiderlady” in Sam Shepard’s “Operation Sidewinder” and is delighted to be a member of the
