| Duvall O'Steen is a proud graduate of the William Esper Studio.
She is thrilled to be a member of the Michael Chekhov Theatre Company and working with
Michael Horn. Most recently in Manhattan, Duvall played the role of Zelda Fitzgerald
in a biographical piece about F. Scott Fitzgerald for St. Francis College, as well as
the role of Roberta in Voice Theatre's Danny and the Deep Blue Sea at 59 East 59th
Street. Other favorite roles include Romeo in an all-female Romeo & Juliet, Isabella
in The Years, Susanne in The Dream (co-starring with Bibi Andersonn), Doris in Same
Time Next Year, Bobbie Michelle in Last of the Red Hot Lovers and Molly in Line, the
longest running Off-Off Broadway show in history. Duvall has appeared in a number of
Quinnart Productions as Leah in both the New York and Paris premieres of Bad Evidence,
as Gisela in the world premier of The Birthmark, as well as Sarah Bernhardt in Wilde
Night for the Appalachian Summer Festival. On-screen credits include the title role
in Gina's Music; a frantic massage escapee in Mister, Back Massage? and a haunted
trauma survivor in Women and Other Strange Beings. Accolades include the coveted
"Performer of the Day" award on opening day of the NY Renaissance Fair, rave reviews
in Show Business Weekly and Off-Off Broadway Review, as well as "finalist" recognition
in the USA Film Festival's 1998 short film Gina's Music. |
