Lara Starr Rigores is thrilled to be working with The
Michael Chekhov Theatre Co. She is currently/most
recently playing (played) the role of Gardenia on the
animated children's series PokeMon. Other Voice-Over
work includes the narrator on the NY Quits Radio
Campaign ( select spot). Feature film work includes an
office assistant in "Social Grace" with director
B.D Wong. Some of her independent film work includes
"Ma" in "Sad Spanish Song," The Dancer, in "Lost
Dance," and Lex in"Take Back" (Award winner Asian
Cinema Festival) Lara's television credits include
Saturday Night Live, Law and order S.V.U. and multiple
episodes of Japan's "Worlds Astonishing News" Lara
works with various Improv./murder mystery Co's, and
she has done some commercial work. She has performed
on stage in many theatrical productions in and around
the NYC area and toured in Germany. Some of those
roles include Margy in " The Widows Blind Date" at
The Red Room Theatre, Sarah Unker in "Glossing
over"(featured in the Village Voice) at Altered
Stages, Gay Wellington in "You Can't Take It With You"
with Mckenna Productions, Athenian Woman in
Lysistrata at The Impact Theatre and THE GERMANY TOUR!
Lara greatly enjoyed playing various roles with"Happy
Hour" at The Big Little Theatre. She has directed full
length and one act plays in Parker Theatre, The Black
Box,The Red Room, and T.S.I. (with the playtime
series) Lara has studied at AMDA and received her
Bachelors degree in Theatre at SUNY NEW PALTZ. |
