Liz DeBetta
 
Liz is a former High School English teacher, who holds a BA in Theatre/Speech with a minor in Dance and an MA in English Literature/Rhetoric. She has toured with National Theatre for The Performing Arts, and The Imagination Company, appeared in the HBO series Sex and the City, the CBS series The Fugitive, NBC’s Law & Order, Law & Order: CI, USA’s Royal Pains and the soon to be released feature film Salt. Liz originated roles in two original musicals at Theatre for The New City, (one with her dad!) and has appeared in several regional theatre productions and cabarets. She is the long time Assistant Producer of The Miss Staten Island Scholarship Pageant which has been named “Best Pageant in the State” for 5 consecutive years along with being one of the highest paying local scholarship pageants in the Miss America Organization. She most recently portrayed Rosaline in Love’s Labour’s Lost, Pamela in Out of Order, Elish and Emer in a Pink Elephant production of After Easter and Julie in a Many Tracks production of Danton’s Death here at The 45th Street Theatre. Favorite roles include Margot in The Diary of Anne Frank, Dr. Emma Brookner in The Normal Heart, Heavenly in Sweet Bird of Youth & Catherine Sloper in The Heiress.
