Kristin Carter is very excited to be returning to the Sam Shepard Festival after appearing as Shelly in Buried Child. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Kristin earned a BFA in Theatre and Psychology at New York University. She was recently seen as Feste in Twelfth Night (Developing Company), The Girl in The Hot L Baltimore with Lovecreek Productions, and Maria/Jen in The Bar Plays (ATA). Other recent: The Best Sex of the XX Century Sale (Theatre for the New City), Difficult Subjects (Best of the Strawberry Festival), The Merry Wives of Windsor (Etcetera Productions). Favorite roles of yore include Jill in Equus at Charas Art Space, Violence in Prometheus Bound at Playwrights Horizons, and Thelma in I Feel Swell at the Producer’s Club, as well as her stint laughing up the Bushs’ in Kennebunkport, Maine.
