| Arthur, a struggling painter in Manhattan, announces to his friend Howard that he’s engaged to Lucille, a no-nonsense Texas socialite. But, there a few problems that need to be addressed before they can be married. Arthur confides to Howard that he’s a fetishist and cannot make love without being in proximity to his father’s argyle socks. To make matters worse, his psychiatrist has stolen the socks after years of unsuccessful treatment. Arthur asks Howard to be his best man and try to retrieve the socks from the evil Dr. Block. When that plan fails, Lucille takes matters into her own hands and attempts to save the day. |
